"we'll slap our faces because our UNREALISTIC OTP didn't end up together"

this is going to be a biased post. REALLY BIASED POST.

rants to their last friends-rants. again. (because i am a civilized creature, who isn't born with the gift to argue inside a public thread)

no one trips in this blog anyway, so no one would mind the spoilers.

i haven't watched the SP, so i know i have no right to rant. but this isn't about the SP, this is about the 'blame-it-all-on-the-DV-guy-and-the-actor-portraying-him.'

from what i've read the SP is just full of crappy recaps, mostly showing sousuke's DV-ness.

and everyone's putting their angst on sousuke, no, actually it's ryo they're blaming. "BECAUSE THE JOHNNY BOY MUST REGAIN HIS CLEAN IMAGE" as they say.

ever wonder why the rating increases or why this SP is full of the DV scenes?
BECAUSE MOST PROBABLY THOSE DV SCENES WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INCREASE OF RATINGS!!! ("woahhh too bold to say, we have nodame in tux in here..") (no way... why would those kicks and tortures bring up ratings? eh?!!)

i mean, come on people, why did you f*cking hang on to harry potter until book seven? because voldemort was still out to get harry until the very end of the book. yes, indeed, last friends is no harry potter. but you know villains and antagonists provides conflict for the story, which makes you interested, which builds up your reactions - be it angst or pity or whatever. so what i'm trying to say is that sousuke, whether you like it or not, made people wonder "what will this evil creature do to them?" "how will this evil creature be beaten up?" "how will this evil creature be taught his lessons?"

oh yes, they are after what happens to ruka, to takeru and to michiru. but you know there was one point in time that everybody's concern was about sousuke. they were afraid that the one on the other line of the ringing phone was sousuke. the one who's knocking on the door is sousuke. who would you give your feelings of hate if the sousuke character wasn't part of the series? the female body of ruka? the always running away of michiru? the uneasiness of takeru?

i'm sorry for criticizing others. i just feel bad that everything is blamed to ryo.

that everything that ryo does is not in approval of people.

yes, sousuke is to be hated. to be bashed. and in your opinion, not to be given any bit of mercy -don't you think that with this kind thinking you're parallel to sousuke's character, who didn't spare any bit of pity for michiru?

okay. they. want. a. more. MORBID. death. for. sousuke. a death were the mighty mighty super ruka would kick him in the chest where his lungs would stop expanding, then bash him in the head with a tv that his brain would be cranberry juice for vampire, and lastly, stab his urinary bladder that his urine would circulate to his body and excrete in his eyes ---> looks like you're the one adapting the DV syndrome.

this is my opinion why suicide is the most suitable exit for sousuke. because suicide only proves his weakness. powerlessness. it shows that the evil dv guy, though kicks and spanks everybody, isn't strong at all. that he only knows that his punishment is nothing but death and that no one else should be responsible for his death than himself. i think you should even be thankful, that nobody from the other casts killed him - because that would only make them suffer in jail. i approved him dying thru suicide, but with a different means. suicide thru gun shot in the temple, probably. because that is more manly, because as what my professor told me, slitting the wrists are for girls and most likely considered as 'suicide attempt' (aka getting attention) and wouldn't have high rate of mortality. or if its slitting that is preferred, the site should be the carotid artery -- because this will most likely result to death = suicide success.

sousuke didn't feel sorry for beating up michiru, for raping her, for beating up others, for causing pain to others, because as far as i can remember his role is dv. domestic violence. just correct me if i'm wrong, but i think he's playing dv, meaning domestic violence, meaning violence. oh come on, stroking my girlfriend's hair ISN'T VIOLENCE.

no remorse on sousuke's part. they hear a 'gomen' from sousuke (reading the letter) but they're not satisfied. according to them, he had no remorse in the maltreatment he has done, and he's just saying sorry for not knowing how to love michiru. well guess what.. he's actually a dv. (weh? for real?)
okay, here's something from my book: "An abusive husband often believes his wife belongs to him (like property) and becomes increasingly violent and abusive if she shows any sign of independence, such as getting a job or threatening to leave. Typically, the abuser has strong feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem as well as poor problem-solving and social skills. He is emotionally immature, needy, irrationally jealous, and possessive. "

i think i need not say more for the words: poor-problem solving skills and emotionally immature. so, got it why until the very end he doesn't admit his psycho behaviors?

ruka didn't end up with takeru, why blame ryo?
ruka didn't make out with michiru, why blame it on ryo?
michiru didn't sleep with takeru, why blame it on ryo?
your OTP didn't even touch each other, why blame it on ryo?
YOU'RE DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THE SPECIAL, WHY BLAME IT ON RYO????!!!

ryo didn't cut and edit the film strips and he didn't write the script.

it's so unfair that you're bashing it all on him and endlessly hailing ueno juri.

if ryo wins an award for this drama, i am going to treat dinner to my friends.AND REJOICE.
